Q: How does one donate to the ED Foundation?

A: Gifts in amounts from $5 - $500,000+ are donated in the following ways:

    Donations can be made instantly through PayPal on this site.

    Cash, checks or gifts of stock (by mail or in person at 20 Oak Street, Brentwood, CA 94513).

    Designations from United Way (Account #124226 0).

    Employer matching gifts.

    Designation of LUHSDEF as a beneficiary in a will/trust.

    Memorial and honorarium gifts can also be made. 


Q: Are gifts to the ED Foundation tax deductible?

A: Yes, to the full extent of the law. LUHSDEF (EducationWins) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (Tax ID #68-0278632).


Q: How do I know that my gift to the ED Foundation will really help the schools?

A: LUHSDEF (EducationWins) has a long history of enriching and enhancing the educational tools that are available to teachers. The goal of the Foundation is to help students achieve more by providing them with cutting edge technology and advanced programming. As a non-profit organization separate from the LUHSD, LUHSDEF has its own board of directors providing oversight to ensure that funds are appropriately used.
